Maria Gomes de Oliveira (1911 - 1938) efetivamente foi uma mulher bonita, pois a vida no cangaço beirava ao desumano, no entanto, Maria só ficou conhecida como "Maria Bonita" depois que morreu fuzilada ao lado de Lampião no cerco de Angico, em Sergipe . Até a morte trágica da realeza do cangaço, ela era conhecida apenas como "Maria de Déa" ou "Maria do Capitão" . Na região onde ela nasceu, " Paulo Afonso - interior da Bahia ", havia um costume de chamar as pessoas pelo nome + o nome de um parente próximo, no caso, "Maria de Déa" era porque sua mãe se chamava Dona Déa . Na minha família, no tempo da minha mãe (que também nasceu na Bahia ) também havia esse costume, ela tinha um irmão mais velho (já falecido) que se chamava "Zeca" e a sua mulher era conhecida como "Maria de Zeca" . 1 - When did you realize that you were a virtuoso on the guitar? I don't think I'm virtuoso, lol. I just consider myself a very happy person to be able to do what I like.
